How to choose the Ceramic Product thats right for me?
Hermosa has several ceramic products, but they do different jobs. The easiest way to choose is to start with one question: how long do you want the protection to last, and how much application work do you want to do?
This guide puts the range in order from long-term coating to regular maintenance.
Graphene Ceramic Coating — long-term paint protection
Hermosa Graphene Ceramic Coating is the long-term option. The approved customer-facing claim is 10H protection for up to five years when preparation, application, curing and maintenance are done correctly.
Choose it when:
- You want long-term paint protection rather than a product you reapply every few months.
- You are prepared to wash, decontaminate and correct the paint where necessary before coating.
- You are comfortable working methodically through the application and cure process.
The coating preserves the finish underneath it. It does not remove scratches or replace paint correction.
Ceramic Spray — faster protection and maintenance
Hermosa Ceramic Spray is a spray-on maintenance product for owners who want faster application than a full coating. Its approved durability claim is 3–6 months of ceramic protection.
Choose it when:
- You want a quick protection top-up after washing.
- You want to support an existing ceramic coating.
- You prefer a product that can be reapplied a few times a year rather than committing to a full coating process.
Ceramic Glass Coating & Cleaner — for glass
Hermosa Ceramic Glass Coating & Cleaner is for windscreen and glass care. It can be applied directly to glass and can also be used through the washer reservoir in line with the current product directions.
Choose it when:
- Your priority is glass cleaning and water behaviour.
- You want a product designed specifically for windscreen and glass maintenance.
It is not a substitute for the paint coating. It has a different surface and a different job.
Ceramic Shampoo — protection during a normal wash
Hermosa Ceramic Shampoo is the regular-maintenance option. Its approved hydrophobic effect typically lasts 4–6 weeks per application.
Choose it when:
- You want your normal wash to add a short-term protection layer.
- You are maintaining an existing coating.
- You want the simplest recurring step in the ceramic system.
